Jacquelyn Marushka is President of Marushka Media, a boutique PR and Marketing agency based in Nashville, Tennessee. Jackie develops and implements results-driven campaigns for recording artists, authors, actors, speakers, trade organizations, brands, special events and corporations.

Before starting her own business, Jackie launched and led Brooklyn-based Shore Fire Media's Nashville office as General Manager (2013-2016), growing the division to four full-time staff and 15 clients in just under three years. In addition to securing national media coverage for her clients, Jackie was asked to serve s Pepsi's Artist Accelerator program media coach during the 2015 Midem music conference in Cannes, France.

Before her term at Shore Fire, she earned the title of VP of Public Relations for Sony Music's Provident Music Group: a position she was instrumental in creating. She was responsible for more than 40 projects at a time, including artist budgets and top-to-bottom PR campaign execution. She also directed corporate communications for the company's film, publishing and distribution divisions.

Jackie is a 2004 Leadership Music alum, a member of The Recording Academy, The Americana Music Association, The Gospel Music Association, SOURCE, CMA, ACM, A2iM, Project Me Halfway, and serves on the Academy Awards PR team.

Jackie has made giving back a key part of her work/life balance. A certified yoga and Pilates instructor, she serves abused, neglected and abandoned girls through a yoga program she started in 2016 at Monroe Harding, a non-profit that serves at-risk youth in Tennessee.

Jackie grew up in the small farming community of Velarde, NM and is a proud graduate of Espanola Valley High School. She graduated with honors from the University of New Mexico and holds teaching certifications in Classical Pilates through the esteemed Power Pilates program in New York, and Power Vinyasa Yoga through Epic, Nashville's only Baptiste Inspired Studio. This year the Manduka Yoga company asked her to be one of its brand ambassadors.
